Anywhere Service Activities Sign Up
Below are the current options for Anywhere Service Activities. The date listed is the final day of the activity when all materials should be dropped off at the final location if applicable. There is no sign-up limit for these activities. It is the goal of Youth Action Collective to make volunteering accessible for everyone, for this reason we try to keep material cost as low as possible. The ‘$’ symbol indicates there are materials that will need to be purchased to complete the activity.
June: Leave it Better
In this project, volunteers will explore what it means to make a positive impact through everyday actions. Together, weโll focus on the idea of โleaving it better than you found itโโwhether thatโs a place, a situation, or a personโs day. Volunteers will also practice being โclue collectors,โ paying close attention to the people and world around them to notice where kindness, help, or encouragement is needed.
- Through this experience, participants will learn that how we treat others and care for our surroundings truly matters. Theyโll also begin to understand that just as we look out for others, there will be times when we need others to notice and support us too. This project encourages empathy, awareness, and the power of small actions to make a big difference.
- This project can be completely FREE, but may involve a cost depending on how volunteers choose to โleave it better than they found it.โ

July: Yes, I CAN!
Yes, I CAN! is a simple service project where volunteers collect canned and nonperishable food items from friends and neighbors to help support local families through the food bank at the Fairfield Township office.
- The Fairfield Township trustee provides food and connections to life-stabilizing resources for neighbors when they need it most.
- Volunteers will be provided with all the materials needed to host their own mini food drive, making it easy to get started. Theyโll also have the opportunity to invite and challenge friends to join to collect even more donations!
- This project is FREE, unless volunteers choose to purchase additional food items to donate.
Activity Opening Date: July 1st
Activity Closing Date: July 31st
Drop Off Locations: Fairfield Township Office (see project guide for details)
