On-Site Activities
On-site activities are a great way to connect your child to the community and recognize practical ways to serve in the world around them. When attending these events there will be a short lesson given by a Youth Action Collective volunteer followed by the service activity. This makes the experience more meaningful and impactful for all those participating.
These service opportunities will take place at a specific location and time. There are limited registration spots for these activities to ensure the event is impactful and helpful to our community partner.

When registering for on-site activities please read through the event details closely paying special attention to age and group size restrictions. We cannot allow any exceptions for age, even if there is an older sibling attending. Please note, each child registering must have at least one responsible adult with them. There can be up to four children per adult when registering.

On-Site Service Activities
Ticket prices are $0 for every activity. Tickets allow Youth Action Collective to control the number of volunteers for each activity. Please select a ticket for each person attending the activity, children and adults.
Fall Project Tickets
Please read the project descriptions carefully before reserving tickets. Pay special attention to dates, times, and age restrictions.

West Lafayette Public Library: Creativity Lab
Pumpkin Pals: Sharing Fall Cheer
Get creative and spread some fall cheer! Volunteers will decorate pumpkins with colorful paint and fun designs that will be gifted to residents of Rosewalk Village. Residents will be able to display their special pumpkins in their rooms throughout the fall season.
All pumpkins and paint will be provided, so just bring your creativity and a willingness to make someone smile! This project is a fun way to practice creativity while creating a thoughtful gift for a neighbor in our community.

Little Bird Lane Gives Back
Little hands can make a big difference! While parents enjoy shopping all the great deals at the Little Bird Lane Consignment Sale, kids can stop by and complete a special service project of their own. Volunteers will decorate and assemble care bags for individuals who are homebound and receive services from Care Giver Companion.
Kids can drop in anytime during the designated project hours, get creative decorating their bags, and fill them with thoughtful items to be delivered to local neighbors. Along the way, they’ll learn how small acts of kindness can help someone feel remembered, cared for, and connected to their community.
It’s the perfect way for kids to give back while their grown-ups shop!
