Thanks to the generosity of Little Bird Lane, Youth Action Collective was able to donate $2,000 to the Greater Lafayette Family Shelter to help families moving from the shelter into new homes purchase essential household items, including dishes, pots and pans, linens, and vacuums. To make this transition even more special, volunteers will work together to paint and assemble “Welcome Home” sign kits that families can hang on the doors of their new homes. All kits and painting materials will be provided—just come ready to paint, be creative, and help celebrate a fresh start.

This activity will take place in the Creativity Lab on the first floor of the West Lafayette Public Library.
